Mrs. Zephier Fontaine, 69, resident of Crookston since 1906, died at 9:45 p.m. Thursday, following an illness of 23 months, at her home 1318 North Broadway.
Mrs. Fontaine, who was born in the province of Quebec, Canada had resided in Brooks, Minnesota before moving with her husband 29 years ago. She was a member of St. Anne's Church and St. Anne's Solidarity.
Survivors include her husband, five sons, Henry, Phillip, Joseph, Adelard and Louis of Crookston; and two daughters, Mrs. Edgar Gervais, and Mrs. Edward Prudhomme, both living on farms near Gentilly.
