JAMES F. HARRISON, 79, Indianapolis, died Aug. 28. He worked 28 years for George F. Cram Co., retiring as a supervisor in 1993. An Army veteran, he was a prisoner of war in Germany during World War II and in Korea during the Korean War. He was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church and a volunteer for Wheeler Mission Ministries. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Francis Hospice. Services: 11:30 a.m. Aug. 30 in G.H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home, with calling from 4 to 8 p.m. Aug. 29. Burial: Washington Park East Cemetery. Survivors: wife Virginia Ruth Harrison; children Sandra Weller, Richard, Curt, Phillip, Roger, David, Joseph Fowler ; 17 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.

Uncle Jim served in the U. S. Army from Aug. 17, 1942 until Sept. 18, 1945 and again from Mar. 10, 1953 until Feb. 7, 1957.
