From R D Baith 9/7/2015 as we sort out relationships:

Theodore S. Renkenberger had two wives. The first being Auguata A. Porter, who he married Dec. 17, 1872. They had a daughter, Josie Esther Renkenberger about 10 Feb 1881. On 22 Feb 1899 she married Tod Ezras Cattell and on May 1, 1900 they had a daughter, Theo A. Cattell. It appears that shortly after and possibly as result of childbirth that Josie died because by June 18th, Theo is shown on the census living with her grandparents in Milton township. She is 2 moths old. It appears that Theo lived with her grandfather until she married Cyrus A. Smith on 16 Dec 1916.

From The Mahoning Dispatch, Canfield, Ohio March 3, 1916

Berlin Center

A double belling took place in town recently for Theodore Remkenberger and bride and his granddaughter, Miss Theo Cattell, who now is Mrs. E. Smith. Both marriages took place in Wheeling, W. Va. Love will find a way though it may have to travel far to find it. Here's wishing many happy and prosperous years of married life to both couples.
----

This article is misleading because Theo & Cyrus actually married in Summit County, Ohio but this would make it seem that they all went to Wheeling to get married at the same time. Maybe what happened is that Theo & Cyrus accompanied Theodore and Laura to West Virginia.

With Augusta dying 19 Nov 1914, Theodore then married Laura Sheets, my 3rd cousin 3x removed, on 9 Feb 1916. I will have to recheck the dates of the items I found in the Dispatch but it is possible that Theodore and Laura were keeping company while Augusta was still dying. She evidently had a slow, lingering death. In any event there wasn't much time between Augusta's death and when Theodore and Laura started hanging together.

After Josie Renkenberger Cattell died, Ezra remarried twice, first to May Inglado in 1905 and then to Ruth Ann Smith in 1936. He ended up hanging himself in 1949 for reasons that only he would know.

Ezra had a brother, Mays George Cattell, who married my 3rd cousin 1x remove, Clara Anna Hopkins.

Ezra Cattell

(Special to the Vindicator)

Sebring, April 30 – Ezra Cattell, aged 72, of the Sebring-Pine Lake Road, was found hanging from a rafter in his barn at 12:30 a.m. today.

Dr. David Belinky, county coroner, ruled his death a suicide, and said the family could give no reason for it.

Mr. Cattell was born near Beloit Feb. 14, 1877, a son of Albert and Uree Etta Catell. He had lived in this vicinity most of his life. His first wife, the former Jossie Renkenberger, died 20 years ago.

He leaves his wife Clara: three daughters, Mrs. Cyrus Smith of Berlin Center, Mrs. Clair Tioffer of Chicago and Mrs. Lou Bare of Topeka, Kan.: a son Albert in California: five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the Mooseman-Vogt Funeral Home, where friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday
