Ila May was born June 27, 1913 in Bonesteel, South Dakota to August and Josie Mary (Hysell) Kappelman.

She married Anton Rehak on Feb. 14, 1934 at Winner, South Dakota. To this union three children were born.

Ila May was preceded in death by her parents; August and Josie; her husband, Anton; two sisters, Dorothy and Twyla; and two brothers, William and Clyle.

Ila May is survived by three daughters, June, Shirley and Bonnie.
