Clyle Henry "Kap" Kappelman, 66 years 5 months 2 days, died Sept 18, 1974 at St Benedict's Hospital, Ogden, UT of a heart attack.

He was born April 16, 1908 in Dallas, SD, a son of August and Josie (Hysell) Kappelman.

On May 12, 1934, he married Inez Evelyn McBride in Belle Fourche, SD.

He worked in the DeBuhr Bakery in Winner, SD, the bakery in Gregory, SD, and Fall River Bakery in Hot Springs, SD. Mr. Kappelman bought his own bakery in Highmore, SD. In 1948 he sold his bakery and moved to Ogden, UT where he worked for the Defense Depot Ogden, 23 years, where he retired in 1972.

Mr. Kappelman was an active member of the First Baptist Church. Where he served as a Sunday School teacher, Deacon, Usher, social committee member. He always served where he was needed.

Kap was preceded in death by his infant son, infant daughter, father and brother William C. Kappelman.

Surviving are his widow of Ogden; one son, Mr. Duane Kappelman of Las Vegas, NV, three daughters, Mrs. Jerry (Sharon) Hill of Ogden; Mrs. Verne (Barbara) Brown of Dugway; Mrs. Rodney (Connie) McKean of Ogden; nine grandchildren, Kari Kappelman, Keli Kappelman, Tracy Hill, Paul Kappelman, Christen Hill, Kristal McKean, Dusty Hill, Matthew Brown and Corey McKean, his mother of Winner, SD; three sisters, Mrs. Ray (Dorothy) Alloway of Omaha, NB, Mrs. Ila Rehak and Mrs. Twyla Anthony both of Winner, SD.
