Miss Aubry Bowman, 18 years old, died while being operated on for appendicitis in this city Tuesday forenoon. Her remains were interred in the lower Wharton Creek cemetery Wednesday.

Miss Bowman was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Bowman of Wharton and was one of the most popular young ladies of that community. Her relatives and many friends were greatly shocked by her death.
