Pearl L. "Honey" (Stump) Paules, of York and formerly of Delroy, entered into rest, December 7, 2009, after a lengthy illness.

She was born in Seven Valleys, on February 11, 1915, and was the daughter of the late John A. and Bertha E. (Kreidler) Stump.

Mrs. Paules was a nanny in the Philadelphia area, then became an LPN and did private duty nursing, working in various nursing facilities including Memorial Hospital.

She retired from Memorial in 1978 after 10 years of service.

Mrs. Paules was a 50+ year member of Canadochly Evangelical Reformed Church in Delroy, where she was a former secretary of the Jolly Group, a Sunday School teacher, and sang in the church choir. She was a member of AARP and the former York Valley Aquatic Club.

Pearl, also known as Honey, was a wonderful Mother and Grandmother. She loved cooking, canning, baking, and making ceramics in Yorkana. She knew how to "Handle a Broom", and she was an avid traveler referring to her journeys as "Wanderlust". She will be sadly missed by all of her family and friends

Surviving are three sons, Jerald R. Paules and wife, Barb of Chandler, AZ, Ned O. Paules of York, and Steven C. Paules of York; three daughters, Susan R. Paules of Issaquah, WA, Barbara Antoskow of Elizabethtown, and Kathleen R. Keener and husband, Tom of Dallastown; seven grandchildren, Jeff and Jon Paules, Kelli King, Bobby Antoskow, Tammy Griffin, and Anissa and Brent Paules; 12 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Palmer M. Stump and Jerald Stump, both of York, James Stump of Dover, and Fred Stump of Florida; one sister, Betty E. Raver of Dallastown; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son, J. Michael Paules in 1996; a daughter, Ann L. Paules in 2000; and two sisters, Delores Distefano and Velma Orwig.
