The news of the death of Mrs. S. J. Hadley, of Arlington, comes to her many friends with much unexpectedness. For some time she has been suffering from heart trouble. The last attack came early last Tuesday morning. She withstood it till evening when she quietly passed away.

Mrs. Hadley was born in Ohio in 1838 and married Mr. Hadley in 1857. In 1879 they moved to Nebraska and for nineteen years has been a resident of Arlington, Six children were born to them, two boys only surviving. One IWill of Arlington, the other a Dr. J. E. Hadley of Cedar Bluffs. The family is a highly respected one and Mrs. Hadley was a kind and loving wife and mother. A large concourse of sorrowing friends paid their last tribute by surrounding the casket and grave with flowers profuse. The family, in their sad bereavement, has the sympathy of an extended acquaintance.
