Ivy and her husband, Clyde operated the Chesapeake Charcoal Steak House, Collinsville, VA for a number of years. She worked for Yeatts Nursery for several years and loved her work making some wonderful friends. Mrs. Bouldin was a charter member of Starling Avenue Baptist Church. Later she became a member of Horsepasture Christian Church where she attended until her health failed.
Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Marjorie "Margie"Ann Bouldin Wilson and James "Jim" Louis Wilson of Ridgeway, VA; a brother, Owen Randolph "Ran" Minter of Martinsville, VA; five grandchildren, Marshall Clyde Eanes, Mark Wesley Eanes, Tracie Elizabeth Prillaman, Sharon Ann Prillaman and Robert Powell Prillaman, II; several great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 29, 2009 at Oakwood Cemetery, Martinsville, VA with Minister David Cuthbertson officiating. The family will receive friends at the home of her daughter, Marjorie "Margie" Ann Bouldin Wilson, Ridgeway, VA.
