HADDEN, MARGARET CECELIA BRYARS, Born in Latham, AL on June 21, 1916 and died May 24, 2007. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Charles Blythe Hadden, Jr., and her parents, Margaret Lopez Moreno Bryars and Tunstall Bryars; four brothers and three sisters. She was deeply loved and survived by four sons, Charles Hadden and wife Charlotte, of Saucier, MS, Don Hadden and wife Joyce, of Birmingham, AL, Keith Hadden and wife Linda of Daphne, AL, Bob Hadden and wife Diane of Macon, GA; one daughter, Mary Elizabeth Hadden Squires of Saraland, AL; one sister, Mary Elizabeth Bryars of Houston, TX; three sisters-in-law, Berthel Bryars and Anna Hadden of Birmingham, AL and Mary Bryars of Daphne, AL; ten grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Margaret was a stay at home mom until her children were in high school when she went to work at the jewelry department at Hammel's and then at D.H. Holmes. When her children came home from school the house often smelled of homemade cookies and doughnuts, and their home was the gathering place for family and friends. She was a member of Eight Mile United Methodist Church where she served on various committees and worked in the nursery for many years. The family would like to thank her doctors and the caring team of hospice workers at Saad's Home Health. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 26, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland with Rev. Rob Couch of Saraland United Methodist Church officiating. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. prior to services. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be grandsons Mike and Robert Hadden and Chuck Squires; and great-grandsons Matt and Steven Squires and family friend Jonathan Coffey. Arrangements are by Radney Funeral Home, 1200 Industrial Pkwy, Saraland, AL.
