Mrs Sholtz was born July 30, 1911 at Bostwick. As a young girl she moved to Jewell County, with her family. She attended rural school. She married Clarence W Sholtz at Mankato, Dec 30, 1926 and lived in Mankato. They later farmed on the state line south of Guide Rock. She moved to Topeka in 1940 where she was employed at the Dyer Care Center. In 1968, she moved to Lincoln.
Survivors include one daughter, Dorothy Brooks, Lincoln; one son, Darold, Guide Rock; two sisters, Evelyn Spoor, Lincoln and Rosella Boller, Denver; 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
