RIMERSBURG - Mrs. Maude Steele of Rimersburg RD 2, a resident of the Rimersburg vicinity her entire life, died Saturday in St. Francis Hospital, Pittsburgh, She was 76. Born August 23, 1889, in West Monterey, she was the daughter of Andrew and Mary Kriebel Bowser, She married Alvie Keefer, who died November 6,1918. On November 17, 1926, she married Albert B. Steele. He died June 11,1961. Mrs. Steele was a member of the Concord Presbyterian Church. She is survived by seven children, Mrs. Mary Waterson of Ellwood City, Gladys Hillegas of Pittsburgh, Myrtle Caldwell of Pittsburgh, Mrs. Rhoda Stewart of parker RD, Frank Keefer of Rimersburg RD 1, Vieta Buzard of Ellwood City and Mrs. June Steward of Rimersburg RD 2. Three stepdaughters, Mrs. Twila Mortimer of Rimersburg RD 2, Mrs. Albert McKinney of Callensburg and Mrs. Tressa Ayers of Canton, Pa.; five brothers, Dean, Clyde, George, Charles and Edward, all of West Monterrey RD; 20 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. One child preceded Mrs. Steele in death. Removal was made to the Moore-Kline Funeral Home in Rimersburg, where friends are being received. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm today in the funeral home, with Rev. Albert Siemon, pastor of the Concord Presbyterian Church, officiating.
