RIMERSBURG - Albert B. Steele, 85, of Rimersburg RD 1 died at his home Sunday morning. Mr. Steele was born February 20, 187G, in Spring Creek, Elk County, the son of William and Mary Snyder Steele. He married Monta Rankin, who died November 3, 1919. He later married Maude Keefer, November 17, 1929. The late Mr. Steele was a retired farmer and a member of the Concord Presbyterian Church in Rimersburg. Mr. Steele is survived by his wife and two sisters, Mrs. Iva Kelly, New Castle, and Mrs. Monta Bonnet, Rimersburg; also surviving are two brothers, Leslie Steele of Ohio and Warren Steele of Rimersburg. Mr. Steele has three daughters: Mrs. Harold Avers, Canton, Pa.; Mrs. Walter Mortimer, Rimersburg; and Mrs. Harold McKinney, Callensburg. One son, Edwin, also survives. Stepchildren of Mr. Steele include: Mrs. Myrtle Caldwell and Mrs. Gladys Keefer, Pittsburgh: Mrs. Rhoda Stewart, Parker; Mrs. James Stewart, Rimersburg; Mrs. Viette Buzard and Mrs. Mary Waterson, Ellwood City ; and Frank Keefer, Rimersburg. Mr. Steele has nine grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. The body is at the Moore Funeral Home in Rimersburg where friends may call after 10 a.m. Derrick (Oil City, Pa), Monday, June 12, 1961.
