Bertha Hight, 87, of Fruithill-Red Bridge Road, died at 11:34 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 22, 2016, at Baptist Healthcare Madisonville following a brief illness.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Judges Chapel Baptist Church with Anthony Knight officiating. Burial will follow in Judges Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 until 6 p.m. Sunday at Lamb Funeral Home.
A native of Christian County, she was born Oct. 5, 1928, the daughter of the late Eddie and Myrtle Pennington Lee. She was a seamstress at Elk Brand for 22 years and Flynn’s for six years. She was a member of Judges Chapel Baptist Church.
Her husband, Vernon Hight, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her son, Lloyd A. Hight, Christian County; her sisters, Ivyl Young, Hopkinsville, June Delawson, Elva-Mae Young, Nell Johnson and Loretta Lee, all of Crofton; three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Judges Chapel Cemetery Fund.
