Charles Marion Roberts was the second child born to Joseph Marion and Blanche Idella Roberts while they were living in Galveston, Texas. His birth on November 5, 1905 was registered in the Galveston Court House record #78907.

He was named for his grandfather, Charles Middleton Breaker Roberts and his father, Joseph Marion Roberts.

Charles only lived to be about two and one half months old. He died in Galveston, Texas. The only proof of death is an entry in the bible of his father, Joseph Marion Roberts, which states the death date as January 24, 1906.
I came across a family notation that Charles Marion Roberts was lost in a storm in 1906 in Galveston. "He was swept away by the water and never recovered". It could be true as I know from family memories that the parents waded to safety carrying Bennett and Clara on their shoulders. I will work on this story.

Family oral history also states that Charles was buried in Alvin, Texas, at the Confederate Cemetery, in the family plot. His parents lived in Galveston and his grandparents lived in Alvin, Brazoria County, Texas. Charles was always remembered and spoken of in the years to follow by family members. but no clear history of his death survives.

There is no marker on his grave.
