WELLS, James Webster - James Webster Wells, 77, died at his home on East Walnut street Sunday morning following a long illness. A short funeral service was held at the home at 1 p.m. Tuesday and another service at the Bentonville Methodist church at 2:30 with the Rev. Ben C. Few, pastor of Central Methodist church at Rogers, officiating at both services. Burial was in the Bentonville cemetery with A.D. Callison in charge. Mr. Wells is survived by his widow, Mrs. Eliza J. His son, Raymond Wyatt Wells, is buried in the same cemetery. His son, Homer Franklin Wells, is buried in Ft Leavenworth, KS.
