L. Lucille Carlson, 86, of Prairie City, died of a respiratory ailment Thursday at Clearview Manor, where she was a resident. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Monroe, with burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Des Moines.Mrs. Carlson, a homemaker, was born in Russell and lived in Des Moines before moving to the care center in October 1992. She is survived by a sister, Margaret Dillman of Russell; and a brother, Keith Goltry of Platteville, Wisc. Friends may call after noon Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Iowa Methodist School of Nursing scholarship fund.
