Mary Estella Taylor,, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Appling, former residents of Madera, and the wife of R. W. Taylor, died In Santa Paula on the 11th and the remains will be brought here for burial. The funeral will be held tomorrow (Sunday) from the south Methodist church at 3:30. The interment will be In the Arbor Vitae cemetery. The deceased was 23 years of age and was born in Merced county. She was raised In this part of the state and was well and favorably known here. She wed a few years ago and moved to Santa Paula where she contracted the tuberculosis from which she finally died. She leaves, besides a heartbroken husband, one son, a year old and the following brothers and sisters: C. J. Appling of Fresno, C. L. Appling of Carrothers, Mrs. D. A. Miner of Madera and Misses Hazel and Birdie Appling of this city.
