Nancy Forsyth, 77
East Liverpool - Nancy Forsyth, 77, of Smithfield Street, died at 1 a.m. Friday, April 15, 2005, at the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor, Mich. Born in East Liverpool, July 17, 1927, daughter of the late Harold and Helen Anderson Allison, she was a member of the East Liverpool High School Class of 1945. A member of Trinity Presbyterian Church, she first worked as a dental assistant for the late Dr. William Sulkes and then for Dr. Thomas Bowser. In 1999, she went to work for the J.C. Penney Co. A volunteer at East Liverpool City Hospital, she also was a member and volunteer of the East Liverpool High School Alumni Association. Her husband, Elliot F. Forsyth Jr., whom she married Jan. 18, 1953, died in December 1971. A son, Elliot F. Forsyth III and his wife Rebecca of Ann Arbor, survive along with three grandchildren, Kristen and Doug Forsyth and Robyn Freeman. A sister, Jane Burns of Orlando, Fla., and a brother, H. James Allison of Cartersville, Ga., also survive. Friends may call Monday at the Dawson Funeral Home, where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
