Catherine Herzog died at the home of her son, Jos. Herzog in St. Anna. Mrs. Katie Herzog, the deceased was born near Strassburg in Alsace, December 10, 1811. She came to America with her husband in 1835 and located in Lancaster, Penn., where they remained for eleven years, then moved to Wisconsin, and settled in the town of New Holstein, where they engaged in farming. She leaves two sons and one daughter to mourn her death. Her husband died in 1874. The funeral took place from the Catholic church at St. Anna on Wednesday.
