MYERS, NINA MCCARTER - of Pigeon Forge passed away Thursday, August 13, 2009. She was a member of the Roundtable Discussion Class at First Baptist Church, Sevierville. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Beulah Trentham McCarter, sisters Gertrude Bradley and Elizabeth Sutton, and brother Bill McCarter. Survivors: husband: Mell V. Myers, Jr.; son: David M. Myers and wife Esmy; daughters: Jane Brackins and husband Jim, Barbra Anthony and husband Jack. She was the beloved "Bottsey" to grandchildren: Melena Brackins, Thomas Brackins and wife Brittany, Ben Myers, Nina Myers; great-granddaughter: Keeley Brackins; brothers: English McCarter and wife Evelyn, Pershing McCarter; sister: Mary McCarter; brothers-in-law: Clell Myers and wife Betty, Jerry Myers and wife Edna, Harry Myers and wife Geneva. Contributions may be sent to the Television Ministry of First Baptist Church, Sevierville, 317 Parkway, Sevierville, TN 37862. Funeral service 7 PM Saturday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. W. W. Cope and Dr. Randy Davis officiating. Family and friends will meet 2 PM Sunday in Little Cove Cemetery for graveside service and interment. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Saturday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
