Emma Elizabeth Schneemeyer Gross was born May 24, 1914, to Martin and Marie Gross Schneemeyer in Fort Calhoun. She attended school in Fort Calhoun.
After the death of her parents, she moved to Towson, Md.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Russell Schneemeyer, Rudolph Schneemeyer and Harold Schneemeyer and a sister, Marie Bond.
She is survived by her husband, Otto Gross; a daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Wade Hilgartner of Towson; three granddaughters, all of Towson; a brother and sister-in-law, Walter and Frances Schneemeyer of Baltimore, Md., a sister-in-law, Norma Schneemeyer of Blair and many nieces, nephew and cousins.
Ruck Funeral Home in Towson was in charge of arrangements.
