Mrs. Margaret Basler

Mrs. Margaret Basler, 70, of 147 State steet, Chilton, died early today at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Nick Breit, at Hilbert, after a two month illness.
The daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Matt Kleefisch, she was born June 22, 1880, at Plymouth, and was married there to John M. Basler on October 26, 1901.
Mrs. Basler was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church, Chilton, and the Christian Mothers' Society of the parish.
Survivors are one son, John G., Chilton; five daughters, Mrs. John Melchior of Kaukauna, Mrs. Ambrose Breit and Mrs. Nick Breit of Hilbert, Mrs. Edmund Mathes of Milwaukee and Mrs. Al Schuler of Valders.
She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; a brother, John Kleefisch, Plymouth; and three sisters, Mrs. Frank Basler of Hartford, Mrs. Emma Rehm of Milwaukee and Mrs. Henry Basler of Plymouth.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday at the Erbe-Hoffmann Funeral home, Chilton, and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary's church. The Rev. Joseph Bartelme, pastor, will officiate and burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Members of the Christian Mothers' society of St. Mary's parish will pray the rosary at the funeral home at 8 o'clock Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.
