Galyon, Sherman Lee age 91 of Maryville went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday July 27th.

He was a member of Old Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church. He was retired from ALCOA.
He was the BEST DADDY in the world. He was a friend to all he met and knew.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Morton ( Uncle Mort) and Mary Ellen Graves Galyon, brothers Johnny, Raymond, Herman, Chester, Will and very special sister Monnie Galyon.

He is survived by daughter and son in law Tammie and Charles Potter, Lisa Galyon and friend Jack Sisson, grandchildren Danny Reagan and Naomi Kelsey, Tonya Tipton and Frankie Cobb, Jennifer Tipton and Jamie Stephens, Jason Potter, Robbie Adams, April Tipton and Timmy Richardson, David Potter, Nikki Cruze. Great grandchildren, Chaina Cobb, Alexis Reagan, Josh Kelsey, Dakota and Kirsten Stephens, Trevor Webb, Brandon Richardson, David Alan Potter. Brother, Wenston Galyon and sisters Marie Whitehead, Sarah Potter and Church Family at Old Piney.

The funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rex Everett, Rev. Kenneth Sullivan and Rev. Obie Campbell officiating. The interment will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Old Piney Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:30 until 7:00 Wednesday at the funeral home.
