Sarah Galyon Potter, age 84, of Maryville, passed away Saturday, December 30, 2017, at Liberty Assisted Living. She was a member of Old Piney Grove Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Fred E. Potter; son, David Potter; parents, Morton and Mary Ellen Graves Galyon; brothers and sisters-in-law, Johnnie, Raymond, Herman, Clyde, Sherman, William(Naomi), Chester(Betty), and Winston Galyon; sister, Monnie Galyon; brother-in-law, Lloyd Whitehead. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Timothy and Dennis Potter of Maryville; grandchildren; Cody, Keith, Chelsea, and Taylor; great-grandchildren, Brycen, Destiny, and Brooklyn; sister, Marie Whitehead; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 1, 2018, at McCammon-Ammons-Click Chapel with Rev. Rex Everett officiating. The interment will follow in Old Piney Grove Cemetery.
