Anna Lena Kiehl, 102, died Jan. 25, at the Good Samaritan
Center, Superior. Services were Thursday at the Simonson-Williams Funeral Home Chapel, Red Cloud, with the Rev. Marilyn Warren officiating. Interment was in the Guide Rock Cemetery.

Kiehl, the daughter of Carl and Augusta Breede Schnittker, was born Dec. 13, 1890, at Nebraska City.

Mrs. Kiehl moved with her family to the Guide Rock area in 1899. They lived on a farm east of town where she attended country school.

Jan. 22, 1912, she was united in marriage with Louie Kiehl at Nelson. They made their home in Guide Rock area and farmed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Louie, Dec.31,1973; a daughter, Mildred Schamp; a sister, Nellie Weigle, and a brother, Richard Schnittker.

Survivors include three daughters, Ruby Duncan, Guide Rock,
Mrs. Frank Corrie (Cleo), Detroit, Mich., and Mrs. Leland Drake (Freda), Hastings; three sons, Robert, Los Molinas, Calif.; Clifford, Quenemo, Kan., and Jesse, Guide Rock;
17 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; 26 great-great-
grandchildren;, and five great-great-great grandchildren.
