Jesse J Kiehl
Guide Rock resident, Jesse James Kiehl, 88, died Friday at Brodstone Memorial Hospital in Superior.
Services were Tuesday at Williams Funeral Homes Chapel in Red Cloud with the Rev Leslie Warner officiating. Burial was in Guide Rock Cemetery.
Mr Kiehl was born Dec 9, 1914 to Louie and Anna Lena (Schnittiker) Kiehl at Holy Oak, Colo. He graduated from Guide Rock School and then married Emma Mae Boyles. They lived in Ericson and later moved to Omaha where he was a maintenance foreman at Clarkson Hospital. He retired in 1979 and moved back to Guide Rock. On June 9, 1980, he married Ariel Kindscher at Guide Rock. She died on May 11, 1987.
Survivors are on daughter, LaVonna Sherrill, Albion; three sisters, Freda Drake and Ruby Duncan, both of Hastings and Cleo Corrie, Warren, Mich.; two brothers, Clifford, Ottawa, Kan and Robert, Los Molinos, Calif., and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son Jesse L and one sister.
