PENDLEY , DAVID E. - age 55 of Maryville, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2005 at Blount Memorial Hospital. Of the Baptist Faith and Retired from the United States Air National Guard as a Chief Master Sergeant with 36 years of service. Retired from AT&T after 30 years of Service as a Program Administrator. Currently employed with I.B.M. Global Services. Former Capt. of the Blount County Rescue Squad and a member of the Baptist Hospital Med-Flight Team. He was preceded in death by: son, Jason Pendley . Survivors include: daughter, Stephanie Hanover and Fiancé Cliff Buckmaster of Maryville granddaughter, Scarlett Hanover of Maryville parents, Floyd and Mabel Pendley of Maryville brother, Don Pendley and Katrina Springs of Mayville sister, Beverly Clark of Maryville several nieces, nephews and many many friends also survive. The funeral service will be at 7:00 pm, Tuesday, September 27, 2005 in the West Chapel of Smith Mortuary. Family and friends will assemble at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, September 28, 2005 at Grandview Cemetery for the interment. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 pm, Tuesday, September 27, 2005 at Smith Mortuary, Maryville, 865-983-1000, www.smithmortuary.com.
