Nina Chornak
Mrs. Nina Chornak, age 60, of Route 149 west, died at 4 a.m. today in Franklin Hospital, where she had been a patient for 6 days.
She was born in Valler, on June 25, 1910, the daughter of John W. and Lillie A. Wilson Morgan. She had lived in the West Frankfort area since 1921.
She was a very active member in the work of the First Christian Church.
She is survived by her husband, John, and two sisters, Mrs. Irene Price and Miss Lillian Morgan, and a brother, Jack Morgan, all of West Frankfort. Her parents and a sister, Mrs. Justine James, have preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the First Christian Church, with Herbert Johnson, minister, officiating. Burial will be in Denning Cemetery.
Friends may call at Reedy Funeral Home after 4 p.m. Thursday. The casket will be moved to the church one hour prior to the funeral.
