Boring, Murray Edward age 84 of Maryville died Saturday, November 2, 2002 at Blount
Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Forest Hill Baptist Church. He was a veteran of World
War II and was wounded in action and received a Purple Heart. He was retired from Alcoa
Aluminum Co. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Murray Boring and Stella Mae
Boring. Brothers, Theron, Burges, V.J. and Von Boring of Maryville. Sister, Lois Foster of
Clinton.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years Martha Cathleen Boring. Daughter and son-in-law, Arthur
and Sarah Teffeteller. Granddaughters and husbands, Donna and Mark Smith, Renee and
Columbo Howard. Brothers, Paul, Bobby, and Lester Boring all of Maryville. Sister, Yvonne
Davis also of Maryville.
Funeral Services will be 8:00 PM Monday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. The
family will receive friends 6:30 to 8:00 PM Monday the funeral home. Family and friends will
meet 11:00 AM Tuesday at Forest Hill Baptist Church Cemetery for the interment.
