BORING, VON D., 60, of Maryville died Monday, Aug. 18, 1997, at his home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Murray and Stella Payne Boring; brothers, Theron and V.J. Boring; sisters, Lois Boring Foster of Clinton.
Survivors include wife, Margaret Coulter Boring; children, Melonie and husband, Rom Meares, Steve and wife, Shanea Boring, Sherry and husband, Ronnie Myers, all of Maryville; grandchildren, Tracie Rose, Rommie and Zephie Meares, Kevin Scott and Darren Boring, Shane and Justin Myers; brothers, Bob, Lester, Paul, Murray and Burgess Boring, all of Maryville; sister, Yvonne Davis of Maryville.
The funeral service will be at 8 p.m. today at Memorial Baptist Church with the Rev. Terry Bradshaw and the Rev. Elmer Sharp officiating. The interment will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Piney Level Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. today at the church.
