Dorothy Armour Cohen, 92, of Columbus, died Thursday at her residence. Funeral services will be held 4:00 P.M. Saturday, August 19, 2006 at Wynnbrookh Baptist Church, with Dr. Brad Hicks officiating. A private interment will be held in Parkhill Cemetery, according to McMullen Funeral Home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus.

Mrs. Cohen was born November 03, 1913 in Columbus, Georgia, daughter of the late Flournoy Wooldridge Armour and Onyce Mitcham Armour. She was a home maker and a member of Wynnbrook Baptist Church, and involved with Precept Ministries. Prior to coming to Columbus in 1996, she and her husband resided in Athens, Georgia for 49 years. Mrs. Cohen was preceded in death by her husband, Alonzo Clifford Cohen, one sister, Jeane Winner and two grandchildren, David Bowling and Jennifer Bowling.

Survivors include three daughters, Judy Friedlander of Columbus, Ga., Susan Anderson and husband Frank Anderson of Raleigh, N.C., and Deborah Wilson of Columbus, Ga. Two sisters, Anne Mosley and Betty Jones both of Columbus, Ga. Six Grandchildren; Steven Friedlander and wife Dr. Annette Smith, Lisa Friedlander Kinney and husband Brad Kinney, Jay Wilson, Mark Wilson, Andy Wilson, and Anna Kathryn Wilson, one great grandson, Jake David Kinney and a beloved caretaker and good friend, Carolyn Jordan.
