Scobee-Hillis (1837-1907), and Nellie Jane Scobee-Huls (1842-1931).
On Dec 7, 1857, in Montgomery County, Kentucky, James married Sarah Elizabeth Jane McIntire (1836-1925), daughter of Van S. Mcintire (1807-1842) and Grace Goodan (1810-1865).
