(1) WILLIAM TRUETT. He was born 1778 in SC, and died Abt. 1824 in SC.
(2) WILLIAM BOND Abt. 1826 in SC. He was born 1778 in SC, and died Aft. 1880 in Owsley Co, KY.

VOL I:
Sarah was born in South Carolina, the eighth of fifteen children of William and Elizabeth Barwick. She was married to a William Truett and by him had two sons and a daughter. She was widowed sometime after 1820.
About 1826 Sarah married William Bond. Seeking a new life together they moved westward from Abbeyville, SC. They settled briefly in Tennessee. It was here that their first child Louisa was born in 1828. From Tennessee they moved to Traveler's Rest, KY. This was to be the end of their journey...Sarah had three more children and was left a widow when she was about 70 years old. She lived another seventeen years and died beyond the age of 87 years...She was buried in the Bond Cemetery on the hill just behind the cabin and Oliver's house.
