Judy Ann Shiplet Dickson, 51, of the 1300 block of Rolfe Lane, died Nov. 19, 1993, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Dickson was a native of Louisville, Ky., and a registered nurse at Sentara Leigh Hospital for eight years. She was a member of Galilee Episcopal Church in Virginia Beach. She was a former volunteer with Virginia Beach Health Clinic, former volunteer with Kempsville Rescue Squad and former volunteer with Lee's Friends in Norfolk.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Talbott Dickson; two daughters, Elizabeth D. Logan of West Memphis, Ark., and Elizabeth Whitney Sayman of Livonia, Mich.; two sons, Curtis Scott Whitney of Dallas, Texas, and Richard Dickson of Cary, N.C.; a brother, Reg Shiplet of Atlanta, Ga.; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Anne D. Jordan of Virginia Beach and Mrs. Daisy K. Dickson of Norfolk; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A church service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 22, in Galilee Episcopal Church by the Rev. John D. Burley. Burial will be private. Memorial donations may be made to Virginia Beach Rescue Squad or a charity of choice. The family will be at 1304 Rolfe Lane, Virginia Beach, Va. 23451. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, is handling arrangements.
