Employed at The Taylor Street Fort Wayne General Electric Plant starting in 1922 where he eventually became a manager in the Engineering department, retiring in 1968. An expert at electronics and carpentry / building.

Milton M. Ray, 79, died at 10:05 a.m. Monday at Lutheran Hospital. A native of Logansport, Mr. Ray lived most of his life in Fort Wayne. He retired in 1968 after 45 years at General Electric Co., where he was a manager in the engineering department. His wife, Estella, died in 1975. Surviving are one daughter, Patricia Goff, of Fort Wayne; one brother, Donald H., of Fort Wayne; and 10 grandchildren. Services at 10 a.m. Thursday at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave. Calling from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 Wednesday with masonic services at 7:30 p.m. today. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorials to Westfield Presbyterian Church.
