Eli Merritt Miller Ray died this afternoon at his home, 2121 East Market Street, aged 38 yrs. Deceased was employed as blacksmith in the Panhandle shops. He was a member of the Market Street M. E. Church, the Blacksmith's union and the Brotherhood of American Yeomen. He is survived by his wife Mary Etta (Huffman) and three children; Donald H., Pearl E., and Milton M.

The funeral of Eli M. M. Ray will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock from the residence 2121 East Market street, conducted by Rev. W. A. Griest of Elwood, and Rev. J. F. Edwards, pastor of Market Street M. E. Church. Interment will take place in Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Note ~ Eli M.M. Ray was exhumed from Mount Hope and re-interred at
South Whitley cemetery.
