Ruby L. Hagerty, 81, died April 20, 2009 in Washington, Illinois.
She was born June 26, 1927 in Burlngton, Iowa, the daughter of Paul Howard and Lillian Marie Hand Siens. They preceded her in death.
Also preceding her in death were two brothers, Robert and Charles.
Ruby is survived by one son, Michael (Joy) Hagerty; one daughter, Mary Anne (Danny) DeYoung; three sisters, Dorothy M. Ernst, Ruth (Fred) Lantz and Audrey (Ron) Schaefer; and one brother, Paul (Sandy) Siens Jr.
Ruby last worked for the Alliance Library System in Pekin for 12 years. There she worked with and supervised the Talking Book Program.
Burial will be in Mackinaw Cemetery.
