Mrs. Armstrong was born in Dodge County to the late C. W. and Fannie Jolley Dykes and was the widow of Edward I. Armstrong. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Warner Robins where she taught the Joy Sunday School Class. She was also a member of the Eastern Star and was a Past President of the Georgia Genelogical Society.
Survivors include her daughter Glenda Harrell (Richard) Patterson of Snellville. Step-childrren; Margaret L. Wagner of Ft. Worth, TX and Jimmy Barlow of Grifton, NC. Seven grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to the First Baptist Church Annie Armstrong Fund, 1135 Watson Blvd., Warner Robins, GA 31088.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 PM Wednesday at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home.
