George Yunker, 61, Sycamore, died Nov. 20, 1996 at Kishwaukee Community Hospital in DeKalb.
He was born March 27, 1935 in Windsor to Harlan and Lucille (Edwards) Yunker. He married Susan Wessels on June 12, 1955 in Sycamore.
He was a graduate of Sycamore High School and a former advisor for Sycamore High School agriculture programs. He was the former owner of Five Points Agriculture Service for 27 years and formerly employed by Arison Implement Company. He also served in the U.S. Army with 86th regiment in 1955 and 1956.
Survivors include his wife, Susan Yunker of Sycamore; two daughters, Glenda (Chuck) Stowe of Sycamore and Jeannine (Matt) Harvell of Maple Park; one son, Russell (Shari) Yunker of Sycamore; three brothers, Thomas (Phyllis) Yunker of Sycamore; Jerry (Marilyn) Yunker of Peoria and Larry (Dorothy) Yunker of Buffalo Grove; four sisters, Donna (Ez) Lindelof of Sibley, Clara (Wallace) G'Fellers of DeKalb, Linda (Bill) Butler of New Hampshire and Darlene (Rich) Boyles of Sycamore; four grandchildren, Ashley and Amanda Stowe, Lindsey Yunker and Bailey Harvell.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
