The body of Mrs. Lytt King, 33, of the Dozier community who passed away last Wednesday morning, was laid to rest in the Dozier cemetary [sic] following funeral services Thursday afternoon in the Church of Christ.

W.H. Riley, minister, was in charge of the rites at which a large number of friends and relatives of the well known young woman attended. Clay Funeral Home made interment.

Pallbearers were S.L. Sechrist, J.H. Clark, Ernest Robinson, C.K. Laycock, Dee Coleman and J.H. Phillips. Flower attendants were Lucile Laycock, Juanita Sechrist, Pearl Stevenson, Mrs. Bill Sandifer, Mrs. Curtis Willoughby, Gertie Robinson and Mrs. Mildred Jaggers.

Mrs. King had resided in Collingsworth county for 14 years. Surviving are her husband and five children, Lena May, Josephine, Vashti, Pete and an infant son, Randal; her father, J.Z. Birdwell of Loving, Texas, and a brother, Sammie Birdwell of California.
