Pauline V. Kary, 86, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2019 at Cottage in the Meadow surrounded by family. Pauline was born on November 18, 1932 the daughter of Lyttleton and Floy May Birdwell King in Dozier, Texas. Pauline moved to the Yakima area when she was 14 years old and stayed here the rest of her life. She welcomed her four girls into her life with her first husband, then met and married the love of her life, Delmar Kary, in 1968. They welcomed their son, Delmar Kary II, in 1971.

Pauline always had a smile on her face and her beautiful blue eyes were always sparkling. She loved to work outside in her flower garden, then get cleaned up and go to the casino. She loved to stay up late watching western movies and shows. Pauline loved to go and play bingo whenever she could. She attended church at Summitview Baptist and loved teaching Sunday School. Pauline loved to travel and spend time with family.

Pauline is survived by her five children, Judy (Tom) Metsker, Sandy (Ron) Munson, Nancy (Don) Jordan, Sabrina Anderson, and Delmar Kary II, twin brother, Pete (Judy) King, grandchildren, Michell, Heidi, Brandy, Ryan, Jennifer, Amber, Tyler, Danielle, and Brynn, 19 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by many other friends and family members. She is preceded in death by her husband, Delmar Kary, her two sisters, Lena Gore, and Josephine Redd, and brother, Randall King.

Viewing will be on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at Brookside Funeral Home (500 W. Prospect, Moxee, WA 98936) from 2:00 to 6:00 pm. Funeral Services will be on Thursday, April 18, 2019 also at Brookside Funeral Home at 11:00 am. Interment will be held at Tahoma Cemetery (1802 Tahoma Ave., Yakima, WA 98902).
