Oliver T. Blake, 82 of Letts a retired farmer died this morning at Bellevue Hospital. --- Mr. Blake had been a resident of Letts for 54 years prior to that having resided in Muscatine County. The son of James and Stella Day Blake he was born February 14, 1868 in Washington County. He married Lydia Edgington in Muscatine County March 3, 1890. --- Survivors include his wife, four sons, Harley and Lindsey both of Muscatine, Ollie of Letts and Albert of Belleflower, Cal., three daughters Mrs. Elmer Haller, Mrs. Edward Morgan and Mrs. Grover Swick all of Muscatine, 22 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, Three brothers Louis of Letts, John and Isaac of Muscatine, two sisters Harriett McGrew, Letts and Loretta Singleton, Washington Iowa. --- Mr. Blake is preceded in death by two sons, one daughter, two brothers and one sister. Fairbanks Home for funerals and service will be held in the Fairbanks Chapel on Monday. Burial will be in the Cedar Bethel Cemetery in Louisa County.
