Edith Emma (Rowe) Bedford (79) was the third of seven children born to Franklin Rowe and Mary Elizabeth Noyes.

She was born in Walworth County, WI on September 10, 1865.

Edith married Thomas Matthew Bedford on September 3, 1907 in Livermore, IA,. They had no children.


She was a great lover of nature, generous and unselfish in her devotion to others.

For nine years Edith served as a nurse to her mother, Mary, after her stroke.

She was a charter member of the Weaver Congregational church and faithful to it's work until the church disbanded.

For several years she shared her home with an orphan, born Kenneth Bullington.

She died in Fort Dodge, IA on June 9, 1944.
