Clara R. Kramer, 80, Seneca, died March 20, 1967, in the Seneca Hospital where she had been a patient three days for treatment of complications from pneumonia.
Mrs. Kramer was born December 25, 1886, at Seneca, daughter of Aloyious & Mary Ann Bertke Nolte. She spent all of her life in Nemaha County.
She was married to Bernard "Barney" Kramer at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Seneca on January 22, 1913. They celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary in 1963. Mr. Kramer passed away on May 19, 1964.
She is survived by four sons, Clarence Kramer, Trona, California; Walter Kramer, Glendale, California; Alvin Kramer, Seneca and Bernard Kramer, Aurora, Nebraska; four daughters, Leoba Kramer, Seneca; Mary Agnes Holtgraver, Gardner, KS; Alma Haug, Harrisonville, MO; and Betty Baldwin, Wichita, KS; 23 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by three brothers, Joseph Nolte, Seneca; Leo Nolte, Onaga; and Anton Nolte, Kelly; and one sister, Sister Consolata, OSB, Atchison.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and an infant son, Lester Francis Kramer.
Services were held at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church. Burial was in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Baileyville, KS.
