Kenny Woodrow Norman, Sr, "Woody", died after a long illness, at his home, at the age of 76. He was the eighth, and youngest, child of Robert Lee and Susan Alice Saunders Norman. His father passed 8 months before his birth. Woodrow spent his early life until his late teens living in West Point, then moved to Richmond, Va. where he met and married Alice Irene Reams in 1935. They were the parents of seven children, Gladys Irene Norman Farmer Tuck, Sarah Jane Norman Leonard Islip (George), Nora Rebecca "Dinky" Norman Poh (Pat), Jeanette Elizabeth Norman Warriner (Carter "Stumpy"), Kenny Woodrow Norman, Jr (Carol R), Nancy Carol Norman Catlett (Kenny), and Robert Nicolis "Bobby" Norman (Carol A). Woodrow served in the Navy during WWII. He was predeceased by his grandson, Charles Wayne Leonard and survived by his wife, Irene; one brother, Robert W; his children; 29 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
