Theodocia "Docia" was the daughter of Redding Pearceby Stewart and Caroline Amanda "Smith" Stewart. On February 11, 1888, she married (1) Robert Frank Wier [1865-1903]. She was the mother of five Wier children. They lived in Mount Olive, MS at the time of Frank's death. Sometime after Frank died, Docia moved back to Webster County where in 1908, she married [2] John Henry Hitt. They were the parents of one son.
