Married William Jefferson "Jeff" Eldridge and had two children:
Mable Clara, born July 10, 1901
Harold, born July 11, 1903.

Lizzie died as a result of complications from giving birth to Harold.

Mrs. Susan Elizabeth Eldridge, wife of W.J. Eldridge, died at their home in this city at 7 oclock, Tuesday morning from blood poisoning. Her illness was of short duration, dating from last Friday, when she gave birth to a son. Mrs. Eldridge was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Rose and was only 23 years of age. She left a daughter, 2 years old and an infant son both placed in the care of their grandmother. Funeral services were held Tuesday evening and interment took place at Woodlawn Cemetery. Mr. Eldridge and his two little motherless children, together with the sorely bereaved parents and relatives have the sympathy of everyone in the community.
