St. Joseph, May 1. – John H. Peters died at 6:30 Monday morning at his home here from a complication of diseases. He was 67 years old and was born in St. Joseph, being the son of Robert and Elizabet Peters. He is survived by the widow. One son, Ralph, is dead. He also leaves two sisters, Mrs. Sarah Peters of Oakwood and Mrs. Frank Bowers of Frankfort, Ind., and one brother, W. A. Peters of Linden, Ind. Last November, Mr. and Mrs. Peters went south to benefit Mr. Peters' health, but they returned in a short time and since that time Mr. Peters has been on a general decline. Funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock Wednesday morning at the Church of Christ, Rev. H. C. Bream officiating. Burial will be in the Patterson cemetery.
