Burial services will be held this afternoon in Bunnell cemetery for Mrs. Frank Bowers, for more than 25 years a resident of Frankfort. She died Friday forenoon in the hospital in Crawfordsville following an illness of several months duration. Funeral services will be held at 1 o'clock at the Hunt and Reeves funeral home in Crawfordsville this afternoon.

For the past eight years Mr. and Mrs. Bowers had lived on a farm near Linden and they would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on March 5th. She was born in St. Joseph, Illinois on October 23, 1871, and on March 5, 1890 was married to Frank Bowers, also of St. Joseph. After their marriage they resided in St. Joseph, or nearby for a number of years before locating in Frankfort. Eight years ago the family left Frankfort. Mrs. Bowers was a member ofthe Frankfort Christian Church.

Survivors are three children, Charles R. Bowers, Crawfordsville, Mrs. Bruce L. Bowen, Indianapolis and Mrs. Paul Floyd, Carmel. Seven grandchildren also survive. There is one surviving brother, William A. Peters.
